Children learn by doing not just sitting and listening. At ELE we play to learn and learn to play. We balance group activities with active learning that is geared towards childrens interests.
Knowing the alphabet or counting to 10 won't be enough for a child entering school if they cannot make friends or regulate their emotions. Research tells us that social emotional skills are critical to academic success. With that in mind we make social skills a top priority at ELE.
Children are more available for learning when they feel more safe and secure. We promote this by focusing on responsive caregiving and building consistency in schedules, expectations and caregivers.
